Drill starter holes if needed then scew down the vent with the fasteners in the installation kit.

Seal the roofing membrane by applying silicone caulking in the area where the roofing membrane comes in contact with the pipe.
Insert the roofing membrane with the backing removed through the pipe.
Place the cover over the vent opening and screw into place.

Installing a roof plumbing vent is typically an easier task than flashing a chimney.
Insert the rubber gasket through the pipe.
Apply silicone caulking around the area where the vent pipe penetrates the roof.
Continue the next row of shingles cutting a hole for the vent pipe.
Apply a second layer of sealant around the lip of the vent outside.
